Hello ladies!
Has your weekend started well? The weather has turned cold here so I woke up to a crisp but sunny morning and went for my first 5k run. I walked a lot of it but at least it's a start.
Anyway, you've come here to see today's swatch, haven't you? Here it is, Boots 17 Magnetized Polish in Lilac:
This is the second time I've worn magnetized polish and application was so much easier than the last time. The photos don't really do the polish justice but I managed to get two/three well-defined waves on each nail by hovering the magnetic over the wet nail polish for a few seconds. Simple.
I wore this polish to work yesterday and received lots of compliments. It's a nice colour and non-bloggers still find magnetized polish a novelty ;-)
The only negative thing I have to say about this polish is that after less than a day it was already showing signs of tip wear.
What do you think of this polish girls?
Bye for now,
Laura
That sucks about the tip wear. :( Beautiful colour! :D
ReplyDeleteI know, I wasn't very impressed about that!
DeleteI love the color! and it looks like the magnet worked pretty well too
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have it in blue and green as well ;-)
DeleteI love the colour & its texture..
ReplyDeleteMe too :-) With this manicure, a lot of my time is spent staring at my nails...
DeleteThat's an awesome colour and pattern.
ReplyDeleteAnd she wiiiill be loved.....
Now that's stuck in my head.
It's a great song! I hadn't heard it for yeeeeears!
DeleteNonbloggers will find it a novelty ... hahaha. You crack me up! Pretty polish. I still haven't tried magnetic polish but I think I'm going to cave now because this is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHa, it's true though! I know in some other countries you can buy polishes with a different design of magnet which will give you different designs on your nails but I'm happy with this basic pattern :-)
DeleteI bought these and agree about the tip wear, really annoying, but lovely colours x
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one to suffer from tip wear :-)
DeleteThat is so great! It's another one of those polishes that I'm so curious about ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour and the design of the magnet, even if it's basic!
Hugs!
Thanks! I love how the industry keeps coming up with new ideas :-)
DeleteIt's nice to see another brand have magnetic polish besides Nails Inc. It looks really cool! I'm waiting to purchase my first magnetic polishes when China Glaze releases theirs =]
ReplyDeleteYes, and they're much cheaper too :-) The only drawback is that this range only has four colours available.
DeleteSo cool, I want one of these so bad!
ReplyDeleteWell apparently China Glaze are releasing their range of magnetic polishes soon so hopefully they'll become widely available :-)
DeleteLooks gorgeous! Love the color combo too.

I think it is gorgeous! I have yet to buy my first magnetic, but I think my first one will be purple like this one. No wonder you received compliments. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :-) I have a set of 3 and still have to try the blue one but the purple may well be my favourite
Deletei want one of these so bad!
ReplyDeleteYou need at least one in your collection ;-)
DeleteSeattle is turning cold as well. Must be that time of the year.
ReplyDeleteNice nails. The effect is interesting.

Thanks.
DeleteWe had no snow here in December so I think it's going to come either this month or next and take everyone by surprise
I like the cool effect. Good luck with your running!:D

Gorgeous! I wanna try magnetized polish so bad but we don't seem to have it here yet...
ReplyDeleteLove this. I just bought my first Nails Inc and really like it too but like yours it had tiny chips after only a couple days even with a SV topcoat.
