E.L.F 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette (Swatches) and free shipping code

Currently watching: Dawson's Creek

Hello!

Remember in December I placed an order with E.L.F and received a free 100 piece eyeshadow palette with my order? Of course you do, but to refresh your memory, here are a few pictures of the palette.

I noticed today that E.L.F (www.eyeslipsface.co.uk) are having a sale and the palette has been reduced by 50% down to £7.50. I also noticed that there's a free shipping code (newyearUK) running until midnight on 6 January so, with that in mind, I thought you might like to see some swatches from the palette in case it's something you're considering buying, either to take advantage of the sale or free shipping.

This is the first time I've swatched eyeshadows so I hope the pictures are ok. Obviously with the 100 piece palette, there is a plethora of colours and shades to choose from. I couldn't swatch them all so I've gone for a selection of purples, pinks, greens and blues with various finishes eg matte, metallic, shimmer.

Some shades are more pigmented and of a better quality than others but overall I think the number of *good* shades more than makes up for the lower quality shades. I haven't put the eyeshadows to proper use yet so I can't comment on their staying power/tendency to crease etc however, in my opinion, this is a good palette to try, especially if you don't have much experience with eyeshadow and want to experiment and find out which shades suit you.

Have you ordered anything from E.L.F today?

Bye for now,
Laura

  5. ooh lovely greens and pinks. The shimmery ones especially. I caved and put in an order :p As I've bought a few Sleek palettes in November, I didn't go for the eyeshadows.
A few posts back I ask you what you think of the studio mineral face primer since it was your second bottle. Did you see it? Just wondered how it works as I only use eyeshadow primer but not for the face
