Sunday's Stamping NOTD

Currently listening to: Joshua Radin

Good morning girls!

Sorry for the lack of posts last week, this week will be better! Here's what I'm wearing on my nails today:

The base is Graphic Berry by Dior

The butterflies weere stamped with Accessorize Magical Mocha

and I used plate 36 by Konad

Despite being impressed with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dry top coat in terms of drying time, its lasting power is ridiculously short; chips being to appear within 24 hours of applying the top coat.

Of course I'm going to stick with this top coat until I reach the end of the polish but does anyone have any recommendations for a fast-drying top coat which also lasts well??

Bye for now,
Laura

  1. It´s such a beautiful red! Gorgeous :) And I´m searching for a good quick dry TC myself, I didn´t find anything good yet. But I´m using Revlon Liquid Quick Dry, it´s like water, so it doesn´t stick to the nail like a normal TC, but it dries the polish really fast :) And as far as I can tell, there was no chipping for at least 3 days..maybe it lasts longer, but I don´t wear my polish that long :P

  3. Ahh I love Joshua Radin! (: I also love that red- so pretty. For top coats I use the famed Seche Vite and it works very well for me (:

  4. @Theodora, thanks :-) It's a sneaky red that sometimes looks pink, sometimes red. I'm intrigued by your Revlon Liquid Quick Dry, I've never heard of anything like that. I might investigate it :-)

    @Liz, thank you!

    @Sandra, thanks :-)

    @thenailaholic, thank you!

    @Brittney, thanks! I found SV worked well for me at the beginning but then half-way through the bottle, the liquid became really stringy :-( Don't know if that was just my bottle though.

  8. I use Orly Sec 'N' Dry and it's the best quick drying top coat I ever tried. First time I used it was on top of two coats of Essie Bordeaux and I kid you not, a week later and all I had was the tiniest bit of tip wear and no chips at all! It dries fast, isn't gloopy, and it's very, VERY glossy. Perfect!
