Good morning girls!
I have been wearing the same nail polish for the last three days now, a bright pink called Hibiscus by Natural Collection. It's not one I normally wear but for some reason I was drawn to it while choosing my polish on Monday evening and now I regret not having worn it more often. It looks so glossy with a top coat of Seche Vite and although it's bright, I think it's work appropriate too.
Last night after work I picked up a parcel that had been waiting for me at the post office and opened it to discover a birthday present from my good friend Wing (thank you!) which included Barry M Nail Effects in pink. Of course I was desperate to try it out and as I always say, a crackle polish is the easiest and quickest type of nail art there is. Here are the results, applied over Hibiscus. What do you think?
I love it! I haven't been so keen on the coloured crackles but this looks really pretty... I may have to invest :P xx
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought of layering a pink over pink lol but it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteHmmm now I think i'm gonna have to buy it!
wow this combo looks very cool! I love it! :D
ReplyDeleteI wondered how pink on pink would look. It looks great though! I'll be trying this! x
ReplyDeleteI still haven't got round to trying my pink and blue nails effects...or painting my nails. Fail!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! I love that!!! "Ton sur ton" crackle manicures are just great!
ReplyDeleteFor the moment I own 4 crackles: China Glaze's Black Mesh, OPI's Silver Shatter, a white one (Burst Crackle #8 Blizzard) and a copper shimmer one (La rosa #16 Satin Smooth). I do plan to get some more ;)
@Emma, oh you definitely need coloured crackles in your collection :-) You won't regret jumping on the bandwagon!
ReplyDelete@Sara, it's not a combination I would have tried had my nails not been pink already but I like it!
@Sandy, thanks!
@Olivia, wise decision :-)
@Daisychain, total fail! Don't neglect your polish!
@Cristina, hi! Ooh, you really are a fan of crackles! I really like the metallic ones that are starting to come out now :-)
You have such long nails! I'm SO jealous! Your blog is really cute :)
ReplyDelete@Vintage Makeup, aw thank you :-) Though I'm not sure long nails are all they're cracked up to be and they're getting to the point where non-nail fans think they're too long :-(
