Hello girls!
Are you having a good weekend? Yesterday I discovered how fun it is to create frankens. Mine didn't turn out at all as planned but I think I may have a new hobby ;-) Here's my first, Fairytale Ending:
It looks much better in the bottle than it does on my nails. For some reason, hardly any of the glitter actually transferred on to my nails.
I then stamped using Bourjous Bleu Asphalte and MASH plate m64. I hadn't tried this pattern before and I'm not sure I will use it again to be honest. It looks like henna, which I like, but for some reason I just don't think it works. What do you think?

I applied a coat of Nail Tek Foundation, which dries matte, rather annoyingly, and then had to layer over another coat of China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. I haven't been using Nail Tek Foundation long enough to see results but I can say straight away that one disadvantage of it compared to OPI Nail Envy is the fact it dries matte.

I really like this mani, the colors go so well together and it looks pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the design totally works. I've only done a few frankens, and my glitter didn't transfer very well to my nails either, so I put the hobby a bit on hold - also because I have so many new polishes to try. :)

@Rainbowify Me, I don't understand the problem with the glitter but I'm glad I'm not the only one who's had that problem. I think I'll be putting that hobby on hold due to a lack of empty bottles!
@whimsical glam, thanks! Wait until you hear the name of the other one I made :-)
@Fingers, I don't know why I'm not keen on it!
