Monday's Manicure- Vintage Stamping

Currently watching: Wall-E

Hello dear readers :-)

Did you have a nice weekend? Are you ready to face the week ahead? I had a great weekend bar Sunday afternoon when I had to study. I start college again in three weeks and apparently we have a mock exam on the first day. Fun times ahead.

This week's Monday Manicure features another of my new Kiko polishes (I will have swatches of them all for you soon), a muted green simply named 346. I then stamped the vintage floral pattern from BM 224 with Eyeko Vintage Polish.

Note to self: take pictures after applying Seche Vite to smooth out any smudges and raised stamping

Before I got my new Bundle Monster plates I saw a lot of manicures with this stamped design and I was so excited to try it myself. I love this design and think using it with two shades of the same colour works really well.

What do you think of this manicure? Do you like my new Kiko polish?

Bye for now,

  1. Aww I love Wall-E! Lol =P
That polish is soo cool! Btw are Kiko polishes good quality? Like do they last well?
I love the stamping you'v done too =] Seeing all these awesome BM designs everywhere i'm getting really tempted to buy the plates!

  2. I really like this Kiko and all the Kiko polishes. Very good quality polishes. And I like the stamping a lot!

  3. hi :) found your link in huda's blog. i love blog hopping! and of course making new friends.

please visit my blog. i have a new post! yay! well i always have a new post everyday lol. please don't be a stranger.

  4. I like it! From far away, it kind of reminds me of marble.

And I love Wall-E!!! It's like one of the cutest movies in life, for real.

  5. I LOVE IT! It looks, to me, like antiqued lace. I really need to get on the ball and order my bundle monster plates. I keep meaning to, but then I see polishes I want and I have to weigh out which I'd!

  6. I love the polish! Big fan of green in general. Your stamping is really delicate and pretty too! As for Wall-E - awesome choice ;)

  7. wow this design is amazing!! and this kiko polish too!

  8. @Sara, I would definitely recommend getting the BM plates. They are a fab investment :-) As for the Kiko polishes, I bought mine in Paris for €2.50 for 11ml so I can't say they're expensive. Application is easy, 1 or 2 coats, no issues. I can't comment on drying time as I use Seche Vite. That also means I can't comment on lasting power, especially since I have changed my manicures quite frequently by choice when wearing Kiko polishes. Sorry not to be more helpful lol. Other bloggers seem to think this is a good quality brand though!

@Cristina, thanks :-) I was excited to find this brand after seeing it featured on lots of blogs.

@Kate, thanks for commenting :-) I'll be sure to check out your blog...

@ChaosButterfly, ooh, I see what you mean about it looking like marble!

@Pixie Polish, thanks! Image plates should definitely win over new polish! I hope you manage to buy them soon :-)

@The Nail Buff, thanks :-) I'm not really a green fan myself but for some reason this shade appeals to me.

@Alice, thank you! I'm happy to finally own some Kiko polishes :-)

  9. I really like the subtle colour you used for the stamping, looks great.

  10. Hey =)
I have the old BM plates and yes they definitely are great but the reason I haven't given in and bought the new plates is because the designs don't appeal to me! I really like some designs but I know that a lot of them would go to waste =/
If I had a choice and could buy only the plates I liked I would soo do that!
And about the polish, it sounds really great =] Its ok you can't say about the staying power... which reminds me, where do you buy Seche Vite from?

  11. i like it! i really like the color and the stamping. :D

    p.s. join my $100 Shopbop giveaway! :D

  12. This is so elegant. I wanna try this out :) Oh, I also followed you! Nice blog BTW :)

    misskatv beauty straight forwards

  13. @Olivia, thanks :-)

@Sara, ah, I see. I know what you mean about not being grabbed by many of the new BM designs. For me it was more about the size of the full nail images. It's reached the stage where I just don't use any of the old BM ones now as I find them so small and I hate double stamping. I'm sure my nails will break soon enough though and I'll be back using them lol.
I got my SV from Sally's though it's probably available in larger Boots branches, on ebay and Amazon. I'm not sure I'd buy it again though as I think there's a new product on the market - Lumos High Speed Top Coat- which is supposed to be better.

@Mimi, glad you like it :-)

    @MissKatv, thanks for following :-)

  14. I like this mani, reminds me of Hong Kong!:D

    ***** Marie *****

  15. @Oje Delisi, thanks :-) And thanks for following!

@Marie, :-) Hong Kong the place or is there a polish called Hong Kong? I'm going to have to investigate.

Reading your comments makes my day, leave me one to have your say :-)
