Sunday's Stationery Bargains

Currently listening to: Only Girl in the World by Rihanna

Good morning girls!

What are you up to today? I'm heading out to have lunch with a friend and a little jaunt in town but before I go, I thought I'd show you the bargains I picked up yesterday.

I absolutely love stationery although I don't have much need for it these days unfortunately. Still, it's hard for me to resist a bargain. I bought these two notebooks in Tesco for £1.50 (A4) and £1 (A5).

The covers are really smooth and the paper inside is lined with a cherry motif in the bottom corner. Aw.

I also picked up an A6 notebook for £1 and four Uniball Fusion pens. These are from Ryman (formerly known as Stationery Box) and were on a 2 for 1 offer so I bought 4 for £1.98. I've had this brand of pens before and I love them; they're nice writers plus the design is pretty :-)

So what am I going to use my new stationery for? Language learning and accounting notes!

Do you like a good stationery bargain?

Bye for now,
Laura

  3. I've got the strawberry one! Love it, then I went home, tidied my room and found about 8 other notebooks I've bought over the years, hehe.

  4. @Pink_Diamond, the pens are so pretty, I only wish more colours were available in the range so I could have a rainbow collection :-)

@Leesha, I'm going to attempt to learn Spanish, for about the 5th time in 7yrs, and Business French. A healhty mind makes a healthy body!

@Wing, LOL. Do you remember the pink notebook you gave me years ago with three flowers covered by plastic cubes on the front? I still have that because it's so pretty I'm waiting until I have something worthwhile to use it for :-)

  7. I don't think of much about the primer unfortunately. It doesn't allow me to apply foundation any smoother like I expected, rather I need to be careful or it all looks clumpy. Lately my skin has broken out and is patchy dry in areas so I haven't given the primer any more goes. Not sure what to try next. I want to try the L'oreal studio one but don't want to dip fingers into a jar.

  8. @Sophie, glad I'm not the only one ;-) Nice writing paper is ridiculously difficult to find in the UK! I tend to stock up whenever I'm on holiday abroad but that's not exactly ideal.

@Wing, ha not at all. I'll take a photo of the notebook. The jar puts me off L'Oreal too, plius the fact it only contains about 15ml as opposed to no7's 40ml. Even the no7 tube looks small.
